[Chrome Extensions] Edit web pages before printing - With the growing popularity of web browser Google Chrome, the more you begin to move or use Chrome as default browser. In addition to speed and stable, the number of support"extension" has also increased the completeness of the browser, one of which is printing and PDF. 

Chrome Extensions is an application or additional features (add) that can be paired (conditioning) in Chrome. To start using this extension, open the Chrome web store (you can directly click the link or opening a new tab chrome icons with labels Chrome Web store) and search with keywords "print PDF". This extension will appear in the first row as shown below: 

Then click "Add to Chrome", to install or add to chromium. Due to its small size, if this process is fast and can be direct, since we use (no need to restart your browser). Active extension is indicated by the printer icon in the upper right corner of the chrome. 

Very easy to use when opening the Web page you want to print / print, or becomes a PDF, simply click the print icon PDF and friendly, it will show an overview of web pages that are already in the initial optimization. Just a quick heads-up: Apple just dropped iOS 5.0.1 to developers. It’s just an incremental update which aims to fix most bugs that iOS 5.0 has brought. According to the developers notes, iOS 5.0.1 contains improvements and other bug fixes, including:

• Fixes bugs affecting battery life
• Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
• Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
• Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
• Contains security improvements

Since Apple released iOS 5 and its latest handset with the new software pre-installed to the public, customers have been complaining about poor battery life. It appears that something in the iOS update has directly affected battery performance.
Other than a few rumors of its engineers contacting customers regarding their complaints, Apple has been relatively silent on the matter… until now. AllThingsD has just received an official statement from the company confirming the problem…

“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”

Let’s face it, iOS 5 is stupendous, it’s game changing, and it’s leaps and bounds over a stock iOS 4.3.3 installation.
Unfortunately, it does feature two primary caveats. First, you can’t jailbreak your iPhone running iOS 5 just yet, because there is no official tool to do so. Secondly, it can be mighty slow and buggy at times.
The latter was a complete deal breaker for me, and of course since you can’t jailbreak just yet, I decided to head back down to iOS 4.3.3 on my iPhone 4.

The only problem with that decision is that it isn’t as straight forward as one would like it to be. I was met with an iTunes error (1) recovery loop while trying to downgrade to iOS 4.3.3. Sadly the screenshots I took of the error were lost, so I don’t have those available.

That being said, you can definitely downgrade your iPhone back to iOS 4.3.3 from iOS 5; I’ve done it, and I can confirm it works. The nice thing is that not only does this tutorial help you downgrade, you also jailbreak your iPhone, killing two birds with one stone. Check out the full tutorial after the break…
Step 1: Place your iPhone running iOS 5 into DFU mode. You can watch the following video to learn how to do so if you’re not sure.

Step 2: Restore your iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 (Apple is still signing this firmware as of this writing of course, because it is the latest firmware). iTunes (10.3) should automatically recognize that your device is in DFU Mode, and will bring up the options to restore.

Click OK

Click Restore

Click Restore and Update

You can click restore and update in this instance, because iOS 4.3.3 is the latest publicly available firmware. Note: This will of course change if Apple releases an iOS 4.3.4+ so keep that in mind. In that case, you do not want to update, especially if there is no available jailbreak. If you’ve already previously downloaded iOS 4.3.3, it should start extracting the software and restoring your iPhone with no problem.
Step 3: Once you get near the very end of the restore, you will likely receive an iTunes error (1) recovery loop dialogue error. This can be disheartening to receive this over and over. Don’t fret though, we have a fix, and it’s called RedSn0w.
Step 4: Download the latest version of RedSn0w [Mac] from the Dev Team’s Blog, and extract the contents on your desktop. Now simply use the following video tutorial to run RedSn0w on your device. It’s a good idea to go ahead and put your iPhone back into DFU mode before proceeding.

Step 5: The only problem I encountered with running RedSn0w is that it froze up on the “Installing Activation Bundles” screen. If you wait more than five minutes, and it’s still frozen, simply follow this tutorial to fix it using TinyUmbrella to exit the recovery loop.
