Apple seeds updated OS X 10 7 3 build 11D24 to developers Update back up
Update: Apple once pulled the 10.7.3 update, but is now back up.
Apple has begun seeding an updated OS X 10.7.3 (build 11D24) to developers this afternoon. The update comes after Apple’s first release of 10.7.3 two weeks ago, and bringing bug fixes into the mix. Apple has also added Spotlight and Safari to the list of areas they would like developers to focus on. In the initial release, Apple originally asked developers’ attention in iCloud Document Storage, Address Book, iCal, and Mail.
It’s not clear when a public release of 10.7.3 will hit Software Update, but in the mean time go ahead and download the update from the Dev Center.

Apple TV 2G Update Released With Support For Purchasing TV Episodes
It seems like earlier today, Apple has quietly pushed out an Apple TV 2G update that now brings support for purchasing TV episodes via the Apple TV itself.
John Gruber from Daring Fireball explains:
I just ran software update on my Apple TV 2 and got a new update that adds support for a major new feature: purchased TV shows. You can buy - not just rent but buy - new episodes directly from your Apple TV, and access and stream any TV show episodes youve previously purchased using your iTunes account.
Previously, it was not possible for you to purchase TV episodes via the Apple TV 2G. Not only this, the update also adds support for Vimeo video content and the YouTube playlist feature. Apart from this, Apple has also added Purchased tab under the TV section in iTunes for both Windows and Mac allowing you to free re-download content that you have already paid for.
This brings the Apple TV 2G iOS version up to iOS 4.3 with a build number of 8F455. Initial reports are suggesting that this Purchased feature is currently available in the U.S. as of now. Earlier today, we also reported that Apple may release 3 HDTVs by March 2012.

A way to update iPhone 4 to iOS 6 without updating the baseband
Recently I was looking for a method to do this and found nothing.
So I tried and figured a method out.
iTunes updates the firmware(baseband) after updating the system, so we can prevent iTunes from updating baseband after the system is updated.
You need to do the following x steps:
1.backup your 5.x shsh blobs
2.run redsn0w0.9.13dev4, select Extra->Even More->DFU IPSW to make a "DFU IPSW" of 6.0
3.add ".zip" to the file, unzip, delete all file that the name contains "04.12.02" in folder "firmware"
4.create a zip file and rename back to .ipsw
5.boot the device to DFU mode, open iTunes, restore iPhone using the new ipsw
6.you will receive an error during the process, and your phone will enter "Recovery Mode"
7.enter DFU mode again, open redsn0w 0.9.13dev4, click "Select IPSW", select the new IPSW, and click on "Recovery Fix"
8.reboot the phone and you will enter iOS6.
If you use ultrasn0w to unlock or need to put activation ticket, etc. You must jailbreak it and you need to connect the phone every time it reboots.
This a screenshot of my phone after updated to iOS6.

I posted this on a Chinese forum and someone got his phone successfully updated:

Update your iPhone or iPad software over the air OTA
Curious how to update to iOS 5.0.1 — or any future iOS update — over-the-air (OTA) directly on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? Yes, Apple finally pulled the big test switch in the cloud and you can go from beta 3 to beta 4 via a svelte, under 200mb, bit differential (delta) update-in-place rather than the usual beefy 700MB+ iTunes restore of updates past. We’ll show you how, after the break!
Initiating an OTA update for iOS is really easy. You might see a red notification badge on your Settings app to alert you to an update, or get a popup notification telling you it’s ready to install, but you can always check on your own, at any time. Not only does iOS 5 update OTA, it updates in place using bit-differential (delta) files, so you should get a faster, much more efficient process. For example, there’s no need to restore from backup afterwards or re-download your stuff.
- Launch the Settings app
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- If there’s nothing new, you’ll be told just so. Otherwise, you’ll be presented with all the details about the update.
- Tap Download and Install
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions
- IMPORTANT! If you’re low on juice, make sure you plug in! You don’t want your battery to die mid-update!
- Watch the progress bar! (This part depends on the speed and quality of your 3G or Wi-Fi signal. Don’t be alarmed if it takes a long time, speeds up or slows down, or appears to jump around — be patient.)
- Once it’s finished downloading, you’ll be prompted to instal (and restart) your device. If you don’t explicitly hit Later or Install within a few seconds, it will install on your behalf.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions yet again.
- Apple will verify the install.
- That’s it!
Seriously, once the download finishes it’s amazing quick and smooth. Apple may not have invented OTA updates (Chris swears BlackBerry has had them for ages, and Nokia likely invented them in 1812…) but if this is any indication, they’re doing them right.
