Update: Apple once pulled the 10.7.3 update, but is now back up.

Apple has begun seeding an updated OS X 10.7.3 (build 11D24) to developers this afternoon. The update comes after Apple’s first release of 10.7.3 two weeks ago, and bringing bug fixes into the mix. Apple has also added Spotlight and Safari to the list of areas they would like developers to focus on. In the initial release, Apple originally asked developers’ attention in iCloud Document Storage, Address Book, iCal, and Mail.

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Coming in 2012 - Android 5.0 Jelly Bean scandalous world of gadget. Gadget world has just introduced the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich where the distribution of all Droid to get the upgrades have not been completed, Google will make a splashy world of gadgets again poised to release Android 5.0. Indeed there has been no official statement from Google about this party, but is not directly over the Mobile World Congress 2012 held in Barcelona, they signal about the name Android 5.0 later.

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Coming in 2012
During the MWC 2012 in Fira de Barcelona Spain, Google being the biggest booth in allcorners MWC convention center area and also the most easily accessible. There, everyone will find a lot of scattered green robot, plus a number of gadgets that areconfirmed using the Android OS to make it was as though the event MWC 2012 Barcelona indirectly it is even Google. Reasonable indeed, especially with the support ofthe fact that the activation of Android handsets recorded the highest, reaching 850 000per day. And the concern is at one corner of Googles booth was placed a tabledecoration looks a bit odd. Develop a large bowl on top tardapat containing the Jelly Bean.

Could this signal that Android 5.0 will be called the Jelly Bean?

This is reinforced by the statement of corporate vice president of ASUS Benson Lin "inan interview with TechRadar. He mentioned that because of its proximity to the Google, it looks like the company would re-gain the shelter of the Android 5.0 update first. Lin thenadd also that the epithet OS version 5.0 is the Jelly Bean. As we all know that the ASUS Tablet seed which is also the first Droid which uses quad-core processor Tegra 3 "ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime" also became the first to get Android Ice Cream Sandwich after the Galaxy Nexus

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Coming in 2012

And yet we also get detail what it will be Android 5.0 "Jelly Bean", there have been otherrumors through the Verge of mention if Android 6.0 will be labeled "Key Lime Pie" isone of the typical American desserts. Googles own party have not been willing toprovide official information about when they will release it the Android 6.0. But if you lookat the current state, where the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich alone has not beenevenly spread. Could be the new Android 5.0 appeared earlier in the year 2012 third quarter and Key Lime Pie is not expected to be introduced in early 2013.

Key Lime Pie word comes from the typical American makananpencuci mlut the dough is made from a combination of lime juice, plus eggs and milk are superimposed on thepie. That was a glimpse of predictions about the coming of the new operating systemfrom Google that will be released soon replace Ice Cream Sandwich. Jelly Bean Will Android 5.0 be true or just rumors? so we wait for the presence of this Android 5.0 Jelly Bean.

What’s Wrong With Apple’s iOS 5 0 1 more power

What’s Wrong With Apple’s iOS 5.0.1 Update?

When Apple dropped iOS 5.0.1 to fix the battery issue, yesterday, most of you updated to iOS 5.0.1 to fix the battery issue but the update hasn’t helped.

There are 275 pages from unhappy customers on this issue, here are just a few comments:

Quote:
“Installed the new IOS 5.0.1 two hours ago. I started a test at 1:30 CT today. 5% battery drain in 45 minutes with WIFI and location services turned on and me not touching the Iphone 4S. The new update doesn’t seem to help much.”
Quote:
“Lost 15% in 45 mins and I didn’t even use the phone. What happened? This update is no help. In fact, it drains the battery even quicker.”
Quote:
“Upgraded to 5.0.1 this morning. Still draining at the exact same rate. Unplugged with a full charge 2 1/2 hours ago, and already down to 80% with light usage.”
Quote:
“I updated last night (UK) and it didn’t fix anything. Losing 6% / hr in standby which is the same as with 5.0.”
Quote:
“Updated to 5.0.1 last night and my battery life seems even worse than before! My phone dropped by 4% overnight in flight mode! I have had it out of flight mode since 6.30am (at which time the battery was at 51%), and its now 8.30am and its down to 35%.”
Jailbreakers who didn’t update to iOS 5.0.1, stay away if you want untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.

TinyUmbrella 5 Beta 1 support

TinyUmbrella now supports 5.0b1 for all devices. Ive added a few nag messages to remind people to update their settings. "Request SHSH from Cydia" and "Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit" should be disabled by users as soon as possible especially if you are having issues saving your SHSH. Cydia is ramping down its proxy service and will eventually offer it no more. It will continue to host SHSHs and Im working on the new TinyUmbrella which will integrate with those new features.

Also note that if you preserve your baseband with TinyUmbrella and go to 5.0b1, you will not be able to fixrecovery until I am able to update it. Sorry - I just dont have time to fix it at this moment.

Warning GEVEY PRO PLUS and GEVEY SUPREME is not our products

Well, Today Gevey SIM card has just released Ultra SIM which will unlock iPhone 4 without dialing maunally 112, yeah thats great This method of unlocking was detailed by Laforet in a recent blog post. Depending on your location, calling 112, even for a split second, could be illegal.

It appears that Gevey has managed to automate the process, making the unlock much easier for the end user. They have also reduced the amount of times 112 has to be dialed. "Once installed, no more 112. Restart the phone and get signal directly."

And heres Gevey Ultra SIM features :

● iOS 4.0, 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2,and 4.3.3
● Baseband 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10, 4.10.1
● NO NEED TO DIAL 112
● Custom Sim Tray
● MicroSim Sticker Guild

And all what we have got is Gevey Ultra SIM will be available soon for $28.00, you can watch the video below :

Gevey has released a SIM Interposer which can unlock the iPhone up to iOS 4.3 by force activating the baseband using the emergency dialer.

A blog post by Laforet explains that the SIM Interposer works by adding a EEPROM chip to your SIM card just like a TurboSIM. You then call 112, a number that can be called from any GSM phone, free of charge, with or without a SIM card on any compliant network. Once the call connects you hang up then toggle Airport mode on and off. When the network connection resumes you will be unlocked.

What does it mean to unlockers?
1. It works if A.your network handles 112 calls properly according to the GSM standard; B.they are tolerant to TSMI spoofing and does not actively validate your SIM again for incoming calls.

2. Unlike its ancestors, the i4 SIM interposer is not a drop-in-and-forget device. The exact precedure must be performed should the device restart, lose reception for an extended period of time or move to another PLMN. In all these situations the TMSI expires and has to be obtained again. Theoretically it is possible for a daemon to automate the process similar to ZeroG, but that only makes thing more convoluted.

3. It is, without question, unethical or downright illegal to use the technique anywhere 112 is a legitmate emergency number. Not a huge issue in China where the number is only used for informative purposes and the networks cannot be bothered to fix the issue.

4. All firmware/baseband combinations for the i4 up to iOS4.3 are vulnerable, however the exploit may be patched in any future software updates or via the carrier. If apple can influence providers to block Cydia it is not impossible for them to press them to fix the exploit. The only way to permanently unlock your baseband is NCK.

5. SIM interposer should not harm your phone hardware, however your network could request IMEI and identify your device during the emergency call. Your identity cannot be faked and it is possible that they will ban your account. There is a reason why SIM cards remain legally the property of the service provider: you are not supposed to tamper with them without breaching contract.

6. Notwithstanding all the problems, SIM interposer does not cause any battery drain since it is only active transiently, nor would it cause signal loss because it does not change cellular transmission other than the initial validation step.

GEVEY PRO PLUS and GEVEY SUPREME are not our products. Beware of counterfeits and imitations. There are a lot of counterfeits on eBay and Amazon. We do not sell on eBay nor Amazon. We will only support customers that purchase from our website.

Gevey SIM Unlock iPhone 4 on 2 10 04 3 10 01 4 10 01 is illegal Warning

If you intend to buy Gevey SIM to unlock you iPhone 4, I think you should wait. MuscleNerd of iPhone dev-team has announced some bad news about Gevey SIM which unlock iPhone 4 basebands 2.10.04 / 3.10.01 / 4.10.01, MuscleNerd said that Gevey SIM is illegal in USA and probably other countires as it dials 112 (emergency) then hang up.

Likely the carriers will block the SIMs that are causing the repeated emergency call hang ups, and if you change the blocked SIM many times, you yourself will get banned by carrier.
That "dial 112 then hang up" in gevey http://is.gd/FGNeJi is illegal in USA, and probably other countries. Buyer beware.
So the question is can the hackers improve Gevey SIM to work legally? Unfortunately, MucleNerd confirmed that there is no way to make Gevey SIM method legal. So I highly recommend who is looking for unlock to wait for ultrasn0w from the dev-team.

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for iPhone Dev Team to release a software solution to unlock your iPhone then may have also heard about a SIM card hack called Gevey SIM.
Gevey SIM Interproser doesnt need users to jailbreak their iPhone but works by forcing the activation of the baseband using the emergency dialer. It can unlock iPhone 4 basebands 04.10.01 (bundled with iOS 4.3, iOS 4.3.1), 03.10.01 (bundled with iOS 4.2.1), 02.10.04 (bundled with iOS 4.1).

This is how it works:
SIM card holds many different types of information, but the part most involved with carrier lock is the IMSI number, which is a unique code that corresponds to your account in the mobile carrier’s database.

A sample IMSI might look like this
310 150 987654321

The first two segments are known as Mobile Country Code (MCC) and Mobile Network Code (MNC) respectively, and in the example above the IMSI indicate the SIM is from USA (310) AT&T (150).
When the iPhone baseband is loaded into memory, it checks the MCC and MNC against its own network lock state stored in the seczone. If the combination is allowed, the cell radio is activated and vice versa.

The earliest iPhone baseband revisions only check IMSI twice following a restart, therefore it is very easy to send spoof information in order to bypass the check. Nevertheless, the baseband was soon updated to validate SIM more aggressively and the method soon became obsolete. [..]
[..] Apparently somebody figured out that while the i4 baseband has been patched to prevent test IMSI from working, it is still possible to force activate the baseband using the emergency dialer.

It works if
A.your network handles 112 calls properly according to the GSM standard;
B.they are lax on TMSI management and does not actively validate your IMSI again for incoming calls.

You can checkout the video of an iPhone 4 unlocked using the Gevey SIM hack below:
Now for some bad news. Since the hack works using the emergency dialer (by dialing 112), it is illegal in the US and probably in other countries.
MuscleNerd, member of the iPhone Dev Team has also warned users from using the Gevey SIM card hack:
That "dial 112 then hang up" in gevey http://is.gd/FGNeJi is illegal in USA, and probably other countries. Buyer beware.
Since the Gevey SIM Interproser fakes your handset’s identity, you also run the risk of your carrier shutting down your account for breach of contract:
SIM interposer should not harm your phone hardware, however your network could request IMEI and identify your device during the emergency call, leading to your handset getting banned. Your identity cannot be faked and it is possible that they will shut down your account. There is a reason why SIM cards remain legally the property of the service provider: you are not supposed to tamper with them without breaching contract.

Download Redsn0w 0 9 9b1 Major New Updates Awesome !

MusclNerd of iPhone Dev team has released Redsn0w 0.9.9b1. As we reported you that Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 is loaded with major updates. Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 wont ask you to choose ipsw file when you jailbreak your iPhone, iPod or iPad as it will automatically detect the best solution for you (tethered or untethered jailbreak).

The only case that you will be asked to point to ipsw file is in iOS beta versions as it isnt available for public. Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 will allow you to verfiy / submit your SHSH file to Cydia. Below you will find all new features of Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 officially from iPhone Dev-team blog.
A bunch of new features!
  • uses DFU mode to try to automatically determine which device and FW you have
  • fetches pieces of public IPSWs from Apple (once). Non-public IPSWs must be provided manually (once). It then caches those pieces for future use.
  • “Just boot” is a tethered boot. Uses whatever “Preferences” you’ve set for boot logo and kernel boot-args
  • “Pwned DFU” puts your device in a pwned DFU state for some of the iTunes stuff detailed below
  • “Recovery fix” gets past 1015 types of errors (when baseband portion of restore fails). Should work on iOS5 beta too
  • “Select IPSW” is for picking non-public IPSWs, or overriding auto-detection
  • “SHSH blobs” has a bunch of options…
  • “Fetch” - fetch current PARTIAL blobs on device. Should complete in under 10 or 15 seconds. Puts the set of PARTIAL of blobs on your computer as a plist. Checks if Cydia already has a full set for this device and build. If not, it submits this PARTIAL set and returns Cydia’s acknowledgement or rejection
  • “Verify” - cryptographically verifies existing blob files from either redsn0w, TinyUmbrella, or Cydia server. You can select a whole bunch of blobs to verify at once if you want (like the TinyUmbrella directory)
  • “Submit” - both verifies and submits one or more blob files to Cydia. This lets you copy your entire TinyUmbrella cache of blobs up to the Cydia server
  • “Query” - queries the Cydia server for all available FULL or PARTIAL blobs for a given set of ECIDs
  • “Stitch” - stitches either FULL or PARTIAL blobs to a STOCK or CUSTOM IPSW
  1. FULL blobs stitched to a STOCK IPSW gives you a completely self-contained signed IPSW that iTunes will accept without any tricks (no need to go into pwned DFU mode, no need to start TinyUmbrella TSS server, no need to redirect to Cydia server for blobs)
  2. PARTIAL blobs stitched to any IPSW requires you to go into pwned DFU mode before running iTunes. No need to start TU or use Cydia though.
  3. Stitching either FULL or PARTIAL blobs to a CUSTOM IPSW also requires a pwned DFU start before iTunes restores. No need to start TU or use Cydia though.
  4. Stitching is NOT yet supported on iPhones! Need to work out the baseband part of the restore process.
  5. Will eventually support fetching the blobs directly from Cydia instead of a file on your computer
